Regarded as one of the leading marathons worldwide and supported for over a decade by Mizuno, the Amsterdam Marathon attracts over 30,000 runners from over 65 different countries. The Dutch capital boasts one of the largest and most prestigious annual marathons with runners treated to a route passing some of the city’s most renowned landmarks such as the Vondelpark, Rembrandt Square before finishing inside the spectacular Olympic Stadium, which was built for the 1928 Olympic Games. Of those runners expected each year, 10,000 are anticipated to participate in the full route, making the Amsterdam Marathon the largest in the Netherlands. For those not quite ready for a full marathon distance, the Mizuno half-marathon (21.1km) is the perfect solution, with 14,000 runners making the Mizuno-sponsored race the largest half-marathon in the country.
