Bio

Motta is a Brazilian-born Italian footballer who plays for F.C. Internazionale Milano in Serie A, as a central midfielder. Motta was part of the all-conquering Inter Milan team who completed the treble, winning the domestic double and the UEFA Champions League. As Mizuno’s latest football ambassador, Motta has been wearing Mizuno boots out of choice for over ten years. As well as providing Motta with their new Supersonic football boot to wear in matches, Mizuno will be converting what would be Motta’s sponsorship fee into sports equipment, and donating it to a leading charity in Brazil - The Ana Moser Institute of Sport & Education. The São Paulo-based charity has been helping underprivileged communities since 2001 and currently works with 12,000 children and adolescents weekly in 14 Brazilian municipalities, to improve their future prospects through sports education and social programmes. The collaboration between Mizuno and Thiago Motta provides much-needed sports equipment that will give a boost to this worthwhile cause.
