Bio
Keisuke Honda is a Japanese footballer who currently plays for Russian CSKA Moscow and the Japan national football team. His current position is as a deep-lying playmaker, but he can equally play as an attacking midfielder or second striker. For CSKA he became the first Japanese player to take part in the Semi Finals of the Champions League, scoring against Sevilla with a trade mark Free Kick. As a Mizuno ambassador, Honda has played an active part in the development and innovation behind the Mizuno Wave Ignitus boot and the concept of Mukaiten in particular. At the 2010 FIFA World Cup he best demonstrated this technology with a stunning ‘no spin’ free kick against Denmark.
