HISTORY

Ever since Rihachi Mizuno opened his first sports shop in Osaka in 1906, the Mizuno family has been dedicated to advancing the performance of athletes, and advancing the role of sport in community.

Originally Rihachi manufactured and sold sports apparel, but soon turned his attention to developing baseball equipment. Forever known as 'the father of High School Baseball' in Japan, Rihachi inspired his son Kenjiro to develop other products like golf clubs, running shoes and soccer boots. In 1985 Mizuno invented the revolutionary Wave technology, and today our products are available in more than 50 countries.
