Biographie

Leevan Sands (born August 16, 1981) is a Bahamian triple jumper born in Nassau.The Mizuno ambassador achieved his personal best jump of 17.59 metres, at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. This is the current Bahamian record. He went to High School at Florida Air Academy. Sands is the cousin of hurdler Shamar Sands. Leevan holds a degree in Accountancy, quotes BBQ ribs as his favourite food and is a follower of football and basketball.
