Biographie

Tasha De'Anka Danvers (born 19 September 1977) is a British Olympic bronze medallist, who finished in third place in the 400m Hurdles at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She was born in London to two athletes, Dorrett Mckoy and Donald Danvers, who both moved to the United Kingdom from Jamaica as children. Tasha first contested the 400m hurdles seriously in 1997 when she went to the University of Southern California. Danvers has been primarily based in Los Angeles, USA since, where she is coached by her husband Darrell Smith. Since giving birth to her son Jaden in December 2004, Danvers has been consistently one of the best hurdlers in the world, having made every final she has contested.
